Locum Tenens/Physician Credentialing Specialist

We’re in search of a detail-oriented Locum Tenens/Physician Credentialing Specialist to become an integral part of our committed team.
 

Locum Tenens/Physician Credentialing Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to ABSS Credentialing, Joint Commission guidelines and client regulations. Knowledge of credentialing processes, as well as familiarity with Joint Commission standards and client-specific regulations, is essential. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to compliance and quality assurance.
  • Customer service is a key aspect of the role, and candidates should prioritize meeting the standards set by AB Staffing. This includes providing timely and responsive support to clients and healthcare professionals, addressing inquiries and concerns effectively, and maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Candidates should be proficient in verifying credentials through multiple sources, such as educational institutions, professional references, and the National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB). This requires strong investigative and research skills, as well as attention to detail.
  • Candidates should have the ability to efficiently review and process clinical applications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established timelines. This requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Effective communication with operations and leadership teams is important for ensuring transparency and accountability. Candidates should be able to provide regular updates on credentialing processes, address any issues or concerns, and collaborate with other team members to achieve organizational goals.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention-to-detail.
  • Strong team communication and collaboration.
  • Adaptability and self-direction in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to investigate and research.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
