Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian Registered Nurse - OB/GYN at the Naval Health Clinic Lemoore-Family Practice in Lemoore, CA. This position will require full-time 40 hours a week schedule, Monday through Friday. Patients are seen for routine OB-GYN care including prenatal care, well women exams, and family planning. The OB-GYN Clinic provides outpatient OB-GYN care and nursing care through health promotion, prenatal screening, diagnosis, treatment, and education.

Role Purpose
Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.
Responsibilities
- OB intake nurse(create a record for the pt, obtain history, order labs, educate on pregnancy care /colpo nurse (managing f/u paps)
- Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate patient's physical, psychosocial and emotional needs.
- Develops and implements individual plans of care in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team in accordance with the established guidelines and standards of nursing care.
- Evaluates patient's response and modifies plan of care accordingly throughout the patient's stay.
- Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
Job Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- An understanding of medical and clinic settings.
- Shall be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate with patients and other staff members.
- Demonstrated competence email and written communication.
- Availability to work a Monday-Friday schedule.
- Possess and maintain a current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Or obtain certification within 6 months of the hire date
- Possess and maintain a current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification. Or obtain the certification within 6 months of the hire date
- RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
- Possess a mininum of 1 year of full-time experience OB/GYN within the last 3 years providing Obstetrics and Gynecology care
- Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
