JOB SUMMARY

The Client Services Provider reports to the Regional Director and is responsible for the supervision and monitoring of clients in a permanent residential program for chronically homeless and mental ill adults.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provide supervision and monitoring of residents.
  2. Ensure that residents comply with schedules.
  3. Make written notes to document client behavior as per contract requirements for the program.
  4. Document rounds, counts, and inspections on appropriate forms.
  5. Provide resident transportation when needed.
  6. Provide life skills training and assistance to residents.
  7. Assist residents in organization and cleaning their apartments when necessary.
  8. Perform some filling and other general office duties.
  9. Perform routine home visits/inspections as outlined in the "HUD Housing Quality Standards", to ensure resident's safety and cleanliness.
  10. Perform light routine janitorial duties as needed.
  11. Maintain a clean work area and facility including the grounds; report any areas in need of repair or maintenance to Regional Director.
  12. Respond to crisis situations in accordance to training provided by the agency.
  13. Will drive on Agency business as needed.
  14. Think and act quickly and efficiently in emergencies.
  15. Physical presence at the program is required.
  16. Detect and implement appropriate behavior and incident reports and actions on client misbehavior and rule violations.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

  1. High School diploma or GED.
  2. Current certified training in emergency first aid procedures and CPR preferred.
  3. Work effectively and professionally with program residents and co-workers.
  4. Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
  5. Count and record daily census.
  6. Legibly, accurately and appropriately document communications, behaviors and routine facility events as they occur.
  7. Ability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
  8. Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, Office 365, Teams, Zoom and other communication/meeting platforms.
  9. Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  10. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and TB test.
  11. Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a dependable means of transportation that is properly insured and operated in accordance with all laws. Agency insurer authorization is required.
