The Material Handler's role is to facilitate the movement of all materials through the factory; receive materials in from supplier; put away activities in the warehouse; pick orders for assembly; and ship finished product to customers.

Main Responsibilities:

• Receive, sort and verify materials count for all deliveries received at the factory.
• Put away materials into warehouse racking and make accurate record of the location.
• Locate materials to pick order for production jobs being started in assembly.
• Prepare materials for shipping by pulling, packing, crating and loading.
• Perform all duties safely and according to procedure.
• Ensure that all materials are accurately accounted through any movement within the site.
• Perform cycle counts.
• Operate powered pallet jacks and potentially forklifts.

Education/Skills:

• High School diploma/GED minimum.
• 1-2 years warehousing or material handling experience.
• Knowledge of inventory control is a benefit; cycle counting, Kanban, order picking etc.
• Forklift lift certified is a benefit.
• Good communication skills and work ethic.
• Knowledge of SAP is a benefit.
• Ability to lift materials weighing up to 50lbs
