Twenty Four Seven Hotels is excited to be in search of a Corporate Director of Finance. This position will administer all financial operations of hotels (Asset Protection, Reporting, Systems Management, Budgeting, Forecasting, Audits and Compliance). Job Responsibilities:

  • Directs and administer all financial operations of the hotels to include, but not limited to, asset protection, financial reporting, systems management, budget, forecasting and ensuring compliance with all Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

  • Provide effective leadership to ensure complete accountability for financial and overall Accounting Department performance.

  • Has final oversight of Cash Management for the portfolio

  • Ensure the monthly financial statements, monthly forecasts, balance sheet, statement of cash flow (according to Company Policies and Procedures, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and the Uniform System of Accounts) and other mandated reports are executed in a consistent and timely manner.

  • Analyze and interpret financial results for improved profitability with Regional Managers. Conduct month end P&L reviews for accountability, accuracy and discrepancies with GM's, as required.

  • Work with operations team to achieve hotels goals of flawless care of the customer, delivering on the brand promise and ensuring financial responsibility (Customer Satisfaction * Employee Satisfaction ~ Business Results) * Ensures compliance regarding all financial practices and regulations.

  • Oversee & Manage hotel's capital expense budgets and reconcile expenditures and escrow account.

  • Annual Operating Plan - Partner with Regional Operational Managers to prepare assumptions and goals for controllable expenses, labor expenses by position and all revenue departments.

  • Prepare Capital Expense budget for following year as well as a five year capital plan.

  • Monthly GOP Forecasting - Partner with GM and operations to forecast acceptable profit and flow through by the 25th of the month.

  • Visits properties at least semi-annually based on the accounting needs of the hotel.

  • Work with VP of Finance in establishing and executing department's OKRs [Objectives & Key Results]

  • Develop key financial models

  • Monitor hotels' Reserve accounts as it relates to reconciling actual pay out to what is "pulled" by Servicer.

  • Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward. Recruit, interview and train accounting team members.


Education and Experience:

  • 3-5 years - experience managing a multi-state hotel portfolio
  • 5-7 years - experience managing a staff of finance mangers and support staff
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 4 Year college degree, preferably in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or Accounting
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be highly organized
  • Ability to build positive relationship with internal customers in the field and at the Corporate Office
